Let's just say that for 1 period anyway the Icehole's did very well. The final result may have been an 8 to 1 blowout loss, but considering only 8 skaters showed up. what else was really to be expected.

11 goals in 10 games just won't do. The Iceholes are in desperate need of scoring some goals. Mark did everything he could on Sunday and we still lost 5 to 1. Hopefully things start to click soon.

The Icehole's played pretty well last night holding the Iron heads to 3 goals. The good news is that we managed to score 2 goals, our first goals in a couple of games. The bad news is it would appear that we have lost Ron for a long time with a knee injury.

Icehole's skunked by the Iron Heads again. Iron Heads crushed the Icehole's 7 to 0 on a night that most if not all Icehole players would like a do over.

Still can't score

Despite the fact that we were short handed for this one, The Iceholes played pretty well. We had a few chances, but except for Kevin's first goal as an Icehole we were kept off the score sheet. Mark did his best to keep this one respectable using everything he could to stop the puck including a laser beam off the noggin. In the end the Iceholes fell to the Hooligans 5 to 1.

We played a much better team game, Mark was rock solid in net for this one. Too bad the Icehole's couldn't finish as the end result could have been very different as the Icehole's had many opportunities to put the puck in the net. Final score Iron Heads 2 Icehole's 1.

Icehole's pop the cherry!

The Icehole's played a solid in a spirited affair against The Mighty Pigs. There were many pushing matches (As usual) and the Ref's made sure Scott know the way to the penalty box. Net result was a well deserved and needed 2 - 1 win.

Icehole's lack that scoring touch

The Icehole's controlled the play for the majority of the game, however the Ranger Landscaping goalie was standing on his head most of the game. The hands aren't quite there for many of the Icehole's just yet. But this game was 10 times better than the last couple of efforts.

First game of the year.....& it showed.

Lot's of rust and very little love from the Ironheads. This one was close for two periods but the Ironheads scored 5 unanswered goals. Make the final 7 to 2

What an end to an Up and Down Season!!

The blood was flying at the conclusion of a very disappointing semi final game against Keyon Drywall. Keyon came out of the gate strong with two fairly quick goals, but the Icehole's answered them back just as quickly, unfortunately Keyon again got that lead back and never looked back again. Late in the third with a three goal lead already on the board a few Keyon players kept running the net, with Icehole's patients running thin, a scuffle broke out at the side of Mark's net, next thing you know Mark is facing behind the net and #16 from Keyon drives Mark from behind. Mark not taking any of that planted a great shot right in the middle of his visor which in turn bloodied his face instantly. That started a pretty damn good fight between the two and in the end both left with their battle wounds. Quite an end to a season that had both up's and down's. Enjoy your summer, we'll work on taking the championship back next year.

Icehole's Win, and Advance to Semi Finals

In a must win game game for the Icehole's the 10 players that showed up came to play. Mark played a great game in net and really deserved the shutout. The three D men played tough all night. The forwards did a good job of helping out the defense and clearing a lot of pucks out of our own end. Now we just wait and see if we move on to the semi finals.

UPDATE: Iceholes advance to Semi's as the fourth place seed.

The Icehole's played a very good game and controlled a large portion of the play all night. But with 2 minutes left in the third, Keyon took the lead, and another quick one after that sealed the Icehole's fate on this night. One more chance next week to make it into the semi finals, a must win game.

Close after one, not so close after two, and the Icehole's could not come back in the third. We played a good game, but a few costly miscue's were to much to overcome in the end. Better luck next week. A 4 to 1 loss to the Iron Heads.

Icehole's win big !!

The Icehole's came with their "A" game last night as all three lines got in on the scoring. Mark played a solid game in net and the 3 "D" men played a strong solid game. All round, it was a good victory and the $25 earned is a nice bonus. The Icehole's now have a playoff record of 1 and 1 with two tough tests coming in the next two games.

Slow Start for the Iceholes

The first round of the playoff round robin is underway and it was a first period that the Holes would like back. A few too many defensive breakdowns in the first left the Noir, Blanc et Rouge in a hole down 4-0. All lines tightened up defensively in the 2nd and 3rd but the hill was a bit to big to climb all the way back. Bobby P scored off a rebound in the 3rd to disappoint the Hogs fantasy of free beer and the Hogs " substitute" goalie made some key saves at the right time. Time for the Icehole's to rebound next week.

Not that it would have helped but an managerial inquiry has been sent to the league offices question the ruling in regards to substitute goalies.
