The Icehole's played another solid game, but just can't put the puck in the net. Two goal posts, and at least a half a dozen great scoring chances. But still only one goal to show for it. Mark S. scored the goal, and unfortunately it will be his last of the year as he wrecked his need shortly after that play.
The Icehole's played a good game, but just couldn't beat the Pigs goalie, seems like the same story all year. Many close chances and at least 3 goal posts, but no goal.
Mark played the game of the year between the pipes as the very shorthanded Icehole's hung on for a 1 to nothing victory over a full Ranger Landscaping squad. With scoreboard not functioning for the entire game the Icehole's had no idea how much time was played or how much time was left. With only 5 forwards and 3 defense it was a gut checking game for everyone. So here is a shout out to Bob, Rob, Shawn, Kevin S., and Lance as the forwards. Brad, Scott and Al as our brick wall of defense. Great Job everyone !!!
We should have had a better outcome on this night, as we wasted a hat trick by Bert. We just didn't have the legs/lungs to pull this one out. Damn Superbowl, with only 9 skaters we lost to the 7 skater Keyon Drywalls 6 to 4.
