Outstanding Goal-tending, not enough

The Icehole's came out of the block ready to play and the first five minutes of the game against Keyon was going well, but then something snapped and the Icehole's chased the puck and Keyon all around the ice all game long. In the end the Icehole's only lost this game by 3 goals, but that is because Mark absolutely stood on his head and stopped almost everything thrown at him. Down at the other net Keyon had an "A" division goalie and we were not able to put a puck past him. We had chances but had no luck all night. In the end Keyon Drywall took this one 3 to 0.

Two more games in the books... 2 more losses

The Icehole's last two games were both played shorthanded and as a result they just could not keep the pace of the younger faster squads. Mark did all he could in net to help but in what seemed like a 50 or 60 shot barrage, the occasional puck finds the back of the net. Hopefully next week will have more players on the bench.
