Well rounded Victory!
Surprising turn of events for last nights game, we thought we were going to be severely shorthanded as two players are suspended and with it being a 10:45pm game many guys usually don't show up after all. But to everyone's surprise 13 skaters plus a goalie showed up. Jordan was brought in to replace the suspended Mark in net and did an outstanding job for the Icehole's. With three forward lines and 4 "D" men the Icehole's had jump all night as they were able to rotate lines quickly. Ranger Landscaping were short benched with only 8 skates and the Icehole's took advantage of this all game long making them skate hard every shift. The Icehole's got out to a 2 nothing lead and never looked back thanks in large part to the Bob, Duncan, and Ryan line who racked up the majority of points in this one.

Not a pretty finish
In what can only be described as an experiment gone horribly wrong, the Icehole's lost for the second straight time to the lowly Yellow jackets Kurtis tried playing nets and at times looked good but unfortunately the Yellow jackets put 5 goals past him. We were only able to get 4 goals at the other end, but we did pick up quite a few penalty minutes over the course of this game. There was an exciting finish as well, Cory crumbled over a yellow jacket player in our end, no call was made, but the dude didn't like the hit and came a Cory with a crosscheck to the face then ran away like a little girl, well Cory wasn't going to let that go and proceed to chase him down finally catching him and giving him the beating he deserved. Meanwhile Mark grabbed another guy that was going after Cory and suplexed him UFC style. It was quite the end to a chippy game. As a result of all the crap at the end of the game Cory is suspended 6 games, and Mark will be suspended 3 games, and Brad who wasn't even there might be suspended 3 games because our game sheet wasn't completed properly.
Final Score: Yellow Jackets 5 vs Icehole's 4

Icehole's Tie Keyon Drywall
The Icehole's brought their "A" game last night and skated from start to finish with the short handed Keyon Drywall club. The Icehole's had quite a few opportunities early but had a difficult time putting the puck in the net as a result the after one period, the score was one to one. The second period was a penalty filled affair with both sides taking a few calls each, including a 5 on 3 advantage for Keyon, however Mark stood on his head a kept Keyon at bay for most of the power play but with only 2 seconds left in the second minor they slide on past him to take a one goal lead. With time winding down the Icehole's kept pressing and with a powerful shot for Brad at the point, Duncan was able to grab the rebound and put the tying goal in the top corner. The Icehole's had a couple of opportunities to take the lead but did not find the back of the net, as a result this one ended in a draw.

Icehole's power their way to Victory!
The Icehole's had 10 skaters, that also included Al’s future son in law Kurtis, who late in the game was hit from behind. Ryan jumped in and took on the guy that hit him, small scrum evolved with all 10 skaters on the ice. Ryan and the other guy were tossed, likely zero games will be handed out per the refs notes, but we'll have to wait and see. In other news two beer fines were imposed (Brad, James) as they did not sign out of the game, resulting in no beer for the victorious Icehole's. Should be a good grudge match in our next encounter! One to definitely keep your heads up in.
