One more loss, what more can I say.Game Summary

The Icehole's played 2 solid periods of hockey Sunday night, but the third period comeback by the Iron Heads was just to much. The Icehole's just seamed like they where a step behind them the entire third period. On the powerplay the Iron Heads tied the game at one, then a few minutes later they popped in another, then finished it off with an empty netter with 40 seconds left, make the final 3 to 1.
The Icehole's played the best all round game since the 2009 playoff run. All three lines were rolling like clockwork, and the defense played another solid game. Mark made some incredible saves and controlled the rebounds perfectly, as a result the Icehole's soundly beat the Hooligans by a 4 to nothing score. This win allowed the Icehole's to leap frog the Hooligans in the standings.
With Mark at home tending to his Halloween maze, Ron played net for the first time this year. He did a pretty good job but I know that he wanted a few of those goals back. In the end the Icehole's had to beat two team on this night the Pigs and the Stripes. four penalties all of which were marginal at best had the Icehole's shorthanded most of the night. Final score was 4 to 4.
No Luck for the Icehole's, costly give-away's in our own end cost us a victory against the Iron Heads. A Lancerbeam shot early in the first held up for a long time in this one, but unfortunately the Icehole's could not beat the Iron Heads goalie again. Make the final 3 to 1 for the Ironhead's which includes an empty netter.
The Icehole's played well enough to earn a shutout, if it hadn't been for two giveaway's in our own end. The Rangers Landscaping team was quite chippy and were constantly heading to the penalty box all night. Unfortunately the Icehole's could not capitalize on all the powerplay opportunities on this night. But they did score two goals in the second to erase a two goal deficit. Make the final 2 - 2.
The Iceholes played fairly well but Keyon played that much better. Mark stood on his head for most of the game making some fantasic glove saves. But he wasn't able to stop them all, and the Iceholes sporting their new black jersey's weren't able to score. They did have some good chances, but just couldn't beat Keyon's goalie. Make the final 3 to 1 for Keyon Drywall.
Icehole's win the 2010 Roger Weir Memorial Heart & Stoke Hockey for Heart Tournament !!!
It was a great way to finish off a great season. The Iceholes beat the dreaded Iron Heads 3 to 1. Mark wanted to play out for this game so Ron was between the pipes for this one and did a great job. He stopped everything but one. Kevin did his best to get his head knocked off, but that will have to wait till baseball. Anyway it was a great season, mostly forgettable playoff's but all in all, it was good fun. Looking forward to next year's championship run.
The Icehole's had many chances to put this one away but just couldn't bury one behind the Keyon Drywall goalie. This was a fast well played game for both teams, but with 3 minutes remaining in the third period, Keyon outplayed the Icehole's in their own zone and put one past Mark, who played one of his best games all year. This 2 to 1 loss will put an end to the Icehole's playoff run, as there is only one game left and too many points to make up. Here is a familiar sentence for many Icehole's. "Great regular season, but a forgettable playoff's".
It just wasn't meant to be. The Iceholes played hard all game, but did not play well as a team and only managed 15 shots on net. Mark played a great game in net and did everything he could, but The Iceholes could not overcome a 2 goal differential. Then an empty net goal late in the third put a nail in this one.
In one of the best played games of the year the Iceholes came to play last night. It was a complete team effort played on both ends of the ice. If the gods had been a little nicer this could have/should have been a victory, but after last weeks poor showing. This was a 100% better, and gives us something to build on.
