Playoff Scores

Game 3: Enviroshield 4 - Icehole's 3
Game we should have won, but didn't.

Game 2: Icehole's 3 - Ranger Landscape 1

Brad's Write up of Game 2: In what was our best defensive effort all year

(Team Canada would have been proud) Nine Icehole's took to the ice. Bob started the scoring off with a sharp angle shot that beat the Ranger goalie high stick side. With their first lead in a very long time the Iceholes played a tight defensive system. Forwards back-checked and the 3 man defence played strong allowing Mark to see shots and not allowing follow-up chances.

With just under 2 minutes left the Rangers pulled their goalie and with the extra attacker applied pressure but the Iceholes defence bent but never broke and Al sent a shot from his end that curled ever so sweetly into the Rangers empty net to give the Iceholes a well deserved 3-1 victory! With the score knotted at 1 Remy put one in the back of the net after a scramble in front of the Rangers net.

Game 1: Mavericks 5 - Icehole's 1

Finish season on losing note

Final Score: Mavericks 5 - Icehole's 2

Close, but not quite enough

Icehole's had the largest turnout all year, but that wasn't enough to propel them too their second straight victory. Instead they lost a close one to the Mavericks, they were close in the dying seconds but in the end the Mavericks sealed the victory with an empty net goal.

Final Score: Mavericks 4 - Icehole's 2

Mavericks defeat Icehole's again

For the second time this year, the Mavericks took it to the Icehole's last night. The Icehole's managed to get out to a quick 2 to 0 lead but the Mavericks came back with a vengeance and scored 7 unanswered goals.

Final Score: Mavericks 7 - Icehole's 2

New Team defeats the Icehole's

The Icehole's had their first encounter with the Mavericks on Sunday night and the result was not what we were looking for. For most of the game the Icehole's skated with the much younger team from Ajax, but in the end just couldn't put enough pucks in the net. Mark played a really strong game in net, but the Maverick's still managed to put five in and as a result the Icehole's record falls to 1 and 2.

Final Score: Maverick's 5 - Icehole's 2
