With only 6 skaters the Icehole's had to play Ironman hockey last night with each skater only getting 3 breaks all game. Considering the tiered legs and not being able to catch our breath the whole game the result wasn't that bad.

Enviroshield hammers the Icehole's
There were chances, but the Icehole's ran into a recurring problem...Goal scoring! Enviroshield brought out there snipers for the game last night as they had 4 goals that were great shots that Mark was unable to make a save. So with little scoring touch and great shooting the other way, Icehole's had no chance to win this game.
Final Score: Enviroshield 7 - Icehole's 2

Icehole's win big !!
The Icehole's came with their "A" game last night as all three lines got in on the scoring. Mark played a solid game in net and the 3 "D" men played a strong solid game. All round, it was a good victory and the $25 earned is a nice bonus. The Icehole's now have a playoff record of 1 and 1 with two tough tests coming in the next two games.Game Summary

Icehole's over Ranger Landscaping 2 to 1
The Icehole's played a solid game rolling through all lines with ease. The Defense came up strong as did Mark, who only allowed one to sneak past. This game ensured that the Icehole's finish no lower than fourth, and gives them a shot at third place. With a victory in the final game of the season against the Iron Heads, and a mighty Pigs loss, The Icehole's would finish in third.Game Summary

It's officially a streak !!
The Icehole's rolled flawlessly through all three lines. Mike, Bert and Fred seemed to have fun out there as they seemed to have the puck in the offensive zone all night. Mark thought this game was being televised as he made some flashy glove saves that were worthy of being on TV. It was a good team victory as the "D" came up strong with a solid effort and another 2 goals. In the end the Iceholes cruised to a 5 to zip shutout and now are the proud owners of a 3 game winning streak.Monday, November 22, 2010
Icehole's flat footed in 4 to 1 loss
Monday, October 4, 2010
The Icehole's played well enough to earn a shutout, if it hadn't been for two giveaway's in our own end. The Rangers Landscaping team was quite chippy and were constantly heading to the penalty box all night. Unfortunately the Icehole's could not capitalize on all the powerplay opportunities on this night. But they did score two goals in the second to erase a two goal deficit. Make the final 2 - 2.Game Summary

Icehole's Tie one on with Durham Radio
This certainly was a game of firsts. First off we played while one of our own Iceholes was suspended ( The Goon know's who he is!). Our reputation for being the least penalized was put into question, and a season without a tie came to an end. It was a chippy affair mostly due to an inconsistent officiating crew who kept their whistles in the pockets for the first period, only to bring them out with a vengeance in the third. WIth the Radio-heads up 1-0 Mike T planted one in the back of the twine from a feed from Bob. ( Ok actually Bob barely got it to Mike after fanning on a shot). Going into the 3rd mostly short-handed due to some penalty trouble, the Iceholes trailed 2-1 with time ticking. With 1:10 left Middlehen skated to the bench to give the Iceholes the extra attacker. With some great sustained pressure the puck was put in front where " New Daddy" Press flipped it over the stacked pads of the Durham goaler for the last second tie.
In Division News: The Ironheads won as well. With one game to go we go into the final game tied for first. We play Keyon Drywall and the IronHeads play the Young Gun's. No more needs to be said.

Solid Victory for the Icehole's
Icehole's came to play last night. As this was one of those games that could have gone either way. But by noticing an offensive play that Durham Radio kept doing, and then making a defensive change to counteract it. That changed the flow of the game, once the change was made the Iceholes never looked back. With the score 3 to 1 for the Iceholes, with 5:22 left in the third Mark took a shot off his right forearm that hurt him and left a nasty bump. That could have been a problem, but Mark shook it off and returned to finish the game, The bench said they were going to play extra defensive, but that didn't happen. Mark stood on his head for the final 5 minutes making numerous saves. In the end Bob scored an empty net goal to ice the victory.Sunday, January 3, 2010
Icehole's Shut -Out Durham Radio
It was the best game that the Icehole's have played this year. From the drop of the first puck through the final buzzer, this one was a one sided game, the final score should have been much higher, but for a couple of great saves, a post and a few missed open nets. Mark played a stellar game in net and made an amazing save midway through the third period to keep the Icehole's in the lead.Monday, November 16, 2009
Another win that got away
This was a game that should have ended up in the win column, but there were too many missed scoring opportunities, and a couple of costly defensive blunders. Late in the third period with a one goal lead the Iceholes had a collective brain fart that allowed Durham Radio to get two quick goals in a 30 second span.Game Summary

Shut Out victory for the Icehole's
The Icehole's got their first victory of the season, and there only 3 games into the season! The championship hangover has hopefully faded into past. In easily their best outing of the year they played a solid offensive and defensive game against Durham Radio. This game was scoreless for two and a half periods. In the end thanks to Ron's persistence around the net was the difference in this one to nothing victory.
