No Scoring Touch for the Icehole's...

We played a much better team game, Mark was rock solid in net for this one. Too bad the Icehole's couldn't finish as the end result could have been very different as the Icehole's had many opportunities to put the puck in the net. Final score Iron Heads 2 Icehole's 1.

Icehole's pop the cherry!

The Icehole's played a solid in a spirited affair against The Mighty Pigs. There were many pushing matches (As usual) and the Ref's made sure Scott know the way to the penalty box. Net result was a well deserved and needed 2 - 1 win.

Icehole's lack that scoring touch

The Icehole's controlled the play for the majority of the game, however the Ranger Landscaping goalie was standing on his head most of the game. The hands aren't quite there for many of the Icehole's just yet. But this game was 10 times better than the last couple of efforts.

First game of the year.....& it showed.

Lot's of rust and very little love from the Ironheads. This one was close for two periods but the Ironheads scored 5 unanswered goals. Make the final 7 to 2

What an end to an Up and Down Season!!

The blood was flying at the conclusion of a very disappointing semi final game against Keyon Drywall. Keyon came out of the gate strong with two fairly quick goals, but the Icehole's answered them back just as quickly, unfortunately Keyon again got that lead back and never looked back again. Late in the third with a three goal lead already on the board a few Keyon players kept running the net, with Icehole's patients running thin, a scuffle broke out at the side of Mark's net, next thing you know Mark is facing behind the net and #16 from Keyon drives Mark from behind. Mark not taking any of that planted a great shot right in the middle of his visor which in turn bloodied his face instantly. That started a pretty damn good fight between the two and in the end both left with their battle wounds. Quite an end to a season that had both up's and down's. Enjoy your summer, we'll work on taking the championship back next year.

Icehole's Win, and Advance to Semi Finals

In a must win game game for the Icehole's the 10 players that showed up came to play. Mark played a great game in net and really deserved the shutout. The three D men played tough all night. The forwards did a good job of helping out the defense and clearing a lot of pucks out of our own end. Now we just wait and see if we move on to the semi finals.

UPDATE: Iceholes advance to Semi's as the fourth place seed.
